Mercedes-AMG has showcased the new AMG GT Concept and unlike the current car, this is a four-door sedan. Wrapped under the racy silhouette is a monster machine bursting 805 horsepower through the wheels making sure the four-door sedan is as fast as the two-seater coupe.

The AMG GT design is unmistakable with that angry vertically slatted grille in the front and the swept back headlamps. Only when you move to the sides is when the length of this GT comes to the fore. The four doors have been wrapped beautifully in the extended roofline completing the coupe look to the T. The tail is straight form the AMG GT but taken right to the future.

Along with the twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine working in conjunction with the big electric motors brought together by Formula1 grade electronic wizardry. It makes sure the exact amount of power is sent to every wheel all the time to ensure the maximum possible traction.

Obviously, on the inside, it will be superbly luxurious in the opulent leathers and suedes. While we haven’t got a peek inside, expect it to be exactly like the AMG GT, just twice as big. For the size of this car, it might well be the Porsche Panamera GT competitor or have a big swipe at the Aston Martin Rapide or the Ferrari FF.
