Commencement of monsoon has made it difficult for car owners to maintain the cleanliness of their cars, moreover during monsoon driving conditions become worse and hence vehicles require extra care. To the relief of customers, some of the auto makers are coming up with unique initiatives to lend a helping hand to them by organizing free check camps during monsoon. Following the footsteps of Hyundai Motors India, local arm of American auto maker, Ford has come up with the ‘Monsoon Ready Service Camp’. However the company has already covered Southern and Eastern regions of the country and is now gearing up to conduct the ‘Monsoon Ready Service Camp’ in Northern and Western India.
Under the service camp conducted by Ford India customers can avail a number of services at the company’s workshops including free car wash and vehicle report card check-up, 50% off on new wipers, Rs. 1000 off on batteries (*Buy back), free laptop bags and gifts (Select Brands) & wheel alignment for 4 tyre replacement, 10% off on brake pads, suspension (Selected parts) and fog lamps.
"Enhancing the ownership experience is an intensive and continuous process, and a strategic imperative for Ford India. The Monsoon Ready Service Camps is our attempt to offer customers a hassle-free ownership experience, even during the monsoons," said PK Umashankar, Vice President, Customer Service Operations, Ford India.
