Harley-Davidson, the United States-based motorcycle brand, has recalled its FLS Softail bike. The bike has been recalled in the United States only and the possible issue is with the indicators of the bike. As of now, approximately 4688 units of the FLS Softail have been recalled. The motorcycles, which were manufactured between March 25, 2013 and October 2nd, 2014, have been recalled.

The company said that the outage of the lamp detection indicator might just stop functioning, which might lead to the front turning signal to work improperly. For obvious reasons, this incident might lead to accidents due to lack of proper signalling. TO prevent this, the possible recalling has been done. The company notified its owners in the US and will service them free of charge for the convenience of owners. If any owner is already facing an issue with the Softail bike, they can directly call the Harley helpline for direct help.

However, the Indian customers might relax as the Indian models do not have this issue. Incidentally, the bikes are assembled at the company facility in Gurgaon. Though there have been a couple of recalls in 2014 for Harley bikes, the Indian models remain untouched so far for the better.
