The wait for all lovers of Ducati bikes is set to be over as the Audi-owned automaker has finally decided that it will lift curtains off the Scrambler on the 20th of September and do a global unveiling. The Italian firm released another video, third and last, on the resurrection of Scrambler, which is truly an iconic bike and also made the much awaited announcement, which said that the bike will make an appearance in September at the 2014 International Motorcycle show, set to be held in Cologne, Germany.

Ducati Scrambler is a name that has a lot of history attached to it and the launch of the older version goes back to the year 1968 in Italy. Interestingly, the Italian firm decided put on their innovation caps and created an advertisement featuring two employees whose names were Alvira and Franco. Going all nostalgic, the firm, in order to promote the 2015 model of Ducati Scrambler, has gone back to the two characters and made a three part video, purely animated, which entails the adventures taken by them on a motorcycle.

There are a lot of expectations, of both customers and firm, from the 2015 Ducati Scrambler, which is a modern day version of the bike from 60s and 70s. This bike features a liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that has a displacement of 696 cc and is also used in the Ducati Monster 696. Built around a trellis frame featuring a low exhaust pipe, this bike has a short tail and similar rear grab handles to offer a retro appeal. The bodywork on this bike is minimal but sources claim that the firm will include a number of equipment options.

The new model has a huge legacy behind it in terms of success as the first version, which entered markets in United States of America in the year 1962, was a roaring success. Ducati Scrambler, back then, was offered in 250-cc and 450-cc engine options along with a minimalistic body language that stood for grass-root bike riding. Though nothing is confirmed at the moment, Ducati Scrambler is likely to enter American markets in the year 2015. Industry experts feel that given its legacy and history, this bike has a great chance of becoming a success. It is quite a possibility that those who rode the bike during 60s and 70s will be pretty much alive and would want to, or their children, to experience this marvel.
