In an unusual twist in tale, car robber in Vododara first zero down on target who is out holidaying in Kerala with his family during Diwali, finding home vacant, they also decide to eat and relish on some fresh fruit juices before fleeing with the car! The victim, Ramesh Prajapati resides in Amitnagar Circle located in Karelibaug area, not just found out the disappearance of his car worth Rs. 2.5 Lakhs but also noticed that burglars had broken into his house and feasted on sweets and fruit juices before making good with his car. The incident reportedly occurred on October 23rd.
Speaking more on the incident, Ramesh Prajapati said, “On Sunday morning when we returned, we noticed that the door knob at the main entrance was destroyed and both the floors in the house were ransacked. All the cupboards were open and our clothes and suitcases were lying on the floor.” The robbers reportedly ransacked the entire place and on failing to find more valuables, ended up eating sweets and drinking juices from the refrigerator.
J I Vasava, police inspector from Karelibaug said, “The burglars who could not find any valuables took keys of three vehicles. They took the car and left Prajapati's motorcycle. While they were on their way out, they ran into a neighbor's car. We are conducting further investigations to recover the car.” Neighbors reportedly last saw the car on October 23 at about 12 AM.
