The picture reveals the crossover’s rear section and is in sync with the facelifted model that has been displayed at the respective Motor Shows. While the rear is characterised by the clear lens tail lamps and an aluminium finish on the roof rails, it is the front end that gets most of the updates. The fascia features a new hexagonal grille, fresh looking head lamps with LED DRLs and also sports a new design 17-inch alloy wheel.

On the inside, revisions may include a new 6.2-inch touchscreen music system, keyless entry and start, 4WD, alloy pedals, additional steering controls and the addition of electric seats. Expect the car to come with the same 2.0 litre four-cylinder petrol motor that belts 150bhp at 6,200 rpm and 196Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. A six-speed CVT will continue to transmit power to the wheels through the 4WD system.

By the looks of it, Malaysian customers may not have to wait too long for the Subaru XV facelift to hit the roads.
