While the 2016 MV Agusta Brutale 800 might not look a lot different from its predecessor, it does get a few visual updates targeted at making the streetfighter more streamlined and aerodynamic. The redesigned fuel tank, exhaust pipes, headlamp and the tail lamp give the bike a more aggressive look. The tail section now features a void just below the riding seat, which is a styling cue borrowed from the Tursimo Veloce sports tourer. Powering the motorcycle is a 798cc three-cylinder engine, which delivers 123bhp of power and 81Nm of torque. This engine has now been updated to make the motorcycle Euro IV compliant.

MV Agusta will bring the Brutale 800 through the SKD route as an entry-level model. This would help the company price the motorcycle competitively. It will rival the likes of the Kawasaki Z1000, Suzuki GSX-S1000 and the Benelli TNT R.
