      2014 India Bike week displayed many interesting motorcycles

      The India Bike Week festival in Goa just got bigger and better this year. The event took a glamorous start with over 700 Harley Davidson flocking to the center of the event amidst all the thumping with a cloud of dust trail behind them. These Harley's were part of the second edition, of the India HOG rally. Legendary motorcycle tourers like Ted Simon, Sam Childers and Nick Sanders took the audience by surprise, the renowned riders shared their experiences and gave biking tips to the fresh lot of biking enthusiasts.

      As per sources, 8,000 riders and biking fans flocked to this year's event. Reports also state that over 1,000 Harley Davidson bikes made it to the event as it progressed. Visitors to the event stated that arrangements made were better as compared to the previous year's event. The narrow lanes of Goa were filled with rumbling from roaring engines of different make and type. At the event, some after-market part makers and dealers were seen showcasing their hardware.

      The India Bike week event featured a number of DJ's and bands playing at different stages, A bikini bike wash, stunt riding teams competing in Stunt Wars, and many more. The highlight of this event was the Beer Ambulance that enthralled the audience with a constant beer supply. The Custom bike showcase section saw the personalized version of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Visitors to the Dyno wars sector were greeted by loud bikes.

      Scott Redding, the runner-up from 2013 season of Moto2, and currently a part of Moto GP from the 2014 season was seen performing a burn-out to delight the audience. Apart from the Harley Davidson lot, bike fanatics were also seen awestruck with the super-fast fleet of European and Japanese bikes. The event also marked the unveiling of Harley Davidson 750 for the Indian market. One of the evening saw international motocross jump riders performing back-flips and gravity defying jumps that had the crowds waving fanatically and cheering the stunters all the way.

      The 2014 Bike Week is a grand success. Sources have stated that the event was organized and planned in abetter way in comparison to previous year. It is anticipated that the next year's event shall even get better than what we witnessed this time.
