The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV was launched in India on 15 September, 2023.

Feature list:

Exterior:

On the outside, the EQE SUV gets a crossover-like body style with a sloping roofline, flared wheel arches, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and rectangular headlamps with a wide blacked-out grille.

Interior:

Inside the cabin, the all-electric EQE comes loaded with a large MBUX hyper screen, Burmester-sourced 15-speaker music system, heads-up display, wireless charger, multi-zone climate control, ambient lighting, all-digital instrument cluster, powered seats, and Level 2 ADAS suite.

Battery, powertrain, and specifications:

The Mercedes-Benz EQE is equipped with a 90.56kWh battery pack unit, which sends power to all four wheels via the twin-motor setup. These motors are tuned to produce 408bhp and 858Nm of peak torque. Moreover, the SUV is capable of accelerating from 0-100kmph in just 4.9 seconds.

Charging time and range:

The EQE SUV is rated to deliver a claimed driving range of 550km on a full charge. Meanwhile, the battery pack can be charged via the 170kW DC fast charger in under an hour.

Variants:

The all-electric EQE SUV is available in a top-spec 500+ 4MATIC variant.

Safety:

The Mercedes-Benz EQE has not been tested for any crash test safety ratings yet.

Competition:

The all-new Mercedes-Benz EQE competes against the Audi Q8 e-tron, BMW iX, and the Jaguar iPace in the segment.
