Mercedes-Benz AMG E63

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the new AMG E63 S 4Matic+ in India along with the AMG E53 4Matic+ in the second half of 2021. This top-of-the-range E63 S is the most powerful four-door sedan in the E-Class line up.

Design

This high-end AMG comes with a host of performance enhancements such as a new wider grille with vertical slats, a bumper below that with enormous air inlets and a jet-inspired front splitter. Meanwhile, the rear end features adaptive LED taillights, a boot lid spoiler and a rear diffuser. Unlike the standard E-Class and the AMG E53 4Matic+, the E63 S gets multibeam LED headlights, adaptive rear differential, AMG performance exhaust system, AMG high-performance compound brake system and 20-inch AMG light-alloy wheels.

Interior

The AMG E63 S has a lavish cabin upholstered in Black Nappa leather. The carmaker offers sports seats and an AMG steering wheel with an integrated model selector. Moreover, the specially designed MBUX comes with AMG Driver’s Package which enables a top speed of 300kmph and the Race mode. Other interior features include, a 13-speaker Burmester surround sound system, 64 colours of ambient lighting and three-zone temperature control.

Engine and Transmission

This high-performance sedan is equipped with a powerful 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine married to an AMG SpeedShift MCT 9G Sport automatic transmission. It generates 603bhp and 850Nm of torque which enables this super-fast sedan to achieve zero to 100kmph in just 3.4 seconds.
