Introduction
BMW India has expanded its EV portfolio with the launch of the all-electric sedan, the i7 here in India based on the new generation BMW 7 series.

BMW launched the i7 on 7 January, 2023.
Features
The cabin of the i7 comes loaded with tech and as many as five screens on board. The dashboard features a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a 12.3-inch fully digital driver’s display. For the rear passengers, the luxury sedan houses a massive 31.3-inch 8k display with built-in Amazon Fire TV and internet connectivity mounted on the roofline of the i7. Then there are two 5.5-inch colour displays integrated into the rear doors for various functionalities like accessing audio system controls, climate control functions, ambient lighting, and seat adjustments.
Specifications
The i7 comes equipped with a floor-placed 101.7kWh battery pack which delivers 536bhp and 744Nm of torque. The brand claims a zero to 100kmph sprint time of just 4.7 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 239kmph. It also supports a variety of charging options ranging from an 11kW AC charger to a 195kW DC charger.
