Globally, the MG eHS is offered in two variants – Comfort and Luxury.

Feature list

The eHS takes styling cues from the erstwhile MG ZS EV and gets a chrome-stud front grille with LED projector headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, and wraparound split tail lamps. The colour options available on the eHS include Pebble Black, Dover White, Medal Silver, and Phantom Red.

Inside, the eHS is loaded with modern and premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, electrically-adjustable front seats, an electric tailgate, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and leatherette seat upholstery.

Furthermore, the international spec is equipped with ADAS functions which comprise adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking, lane keep assist, high beam assist, and traffic jam assist.

Engine, performance, and specifications

Since it is a plug-in hybrid, the SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that works in tandem with an electric motor and a 16.6kWh battery pack. The gasoline engine produces 160bhp and 250Nm of torque whereas the electric motor has an output of 121bhp and 230Nm. The transmission duty is handled by a ten-speed electric drive transmission.

Safety

The MG eHS comes with a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

Competition

Presently, the MG eHS has no plug-in hybrid rivals in India.
