The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB was launched in India on 9 October, 2024.
Feature list:
Exterior:
The 2024 E-Class gets a new face with a revised front grille flaunting a star pattern. It rides on 18-inch wheels and is now offered with flush-fitting door handles that are mounted on the soft-close doors. The rear holds the split taillamps that get starlight elements.
Interior:
Inside, the new layout of the dashboard houses a massive hyperscreen and a digital instrument cluster. Other highlights include a centre airbag, selfie camera, powered front and rear seats, Burmester sound system, and a 360-degree camera with park assist.
Engine, performance, and specifications:
Under the bonnet, the E200 variant is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that is tuned to produce 201bhp and 320Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the E220d diesel powertrain produces 194bhp and 440Nm of torque. The top-spec E450 is plonked with a 3.0-litre petrol engine that generates 375bhp and 500Nm torque. The nine-speed automatic transmission is standard for all variants.
