The Volvo EX90 is expected to make its India debut sometime in 2025.

Feature list:

Exterior:

The EX90 has a distinctive Volvo appearance with its unique lighting signature and minimalist design. It features a sleek body line to achieve a drag coefficient of 0.29. The vehicle has been built on a new electric platform, which has allowed for a more dedicated EV design both inside and out.

Interior:

The Volvo EX90 cabin has a simple, minimalistic style with a 14.5-inch vertical touchscreen at the centre console. The touchscreen is powered by advanced technologies such as NVIDIA Drive AI platforms Xavier and Orin, and Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms from Qualcomm Technologies. The driver's display is small and elegant, while the rest of the cabin is clean and uncluttered.

Battery, powertrain, and specifications:

The EX90 will have a 111kWh battery and dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain. It comes in two power levels – Twin Motor (408 bhp/770Nm) and Twin Motor Performance (517bhp/910Nm), both with a top speed of 180kmph.

Charging time and range:

As per WLTP, the EX90 has a range of up to 600km on a single charge, and it takes about 30 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 per cent.

Safety:

The Volvo EX90 has not been tested yet for any crash test safety ratings.

Competition:

The Volvo EX90 will compete against the Audi e-tron, BMW iX, Porsche Taycan, and the Mercedes-Benz EQS.
