Fisker Ocean EV

Fisker Inc. is a California-based electric vehicle startup. It will start the production of its first SUV EV, the Ocean, in mid-November 2022. That said, the Ocean EV is expected to go on sale in international markets, mainly the US and Europe in late 2022. Thereafter, Fisker is likely to launch the Ocean EV in India sometime in mid-2023. 

The key exterior highlights of the Fisker Ocean are full-LED headlights and taillights, 22-inch aero alloy wheels, and a solar roof. Other features include a 360-degree camera setup, ADAS with ‘park my car’, and three driving modes — Earth, Fun, and Hyper. 

The cabin of the electric SUV comes with a rotating 17.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, a digital inside rearview mirror, Fisker HyperSound, front and rear seat heating, and an ultrawide driver display. It uses recycled plastic bottles and other plastic components for interior upholstery. 

The electric Ocean will be available in front-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations. The front-wheel-drive setup will have a minimum range of 440km, whereas the AWD trims will be able to travel up to 630km, as per WLTP.
