Audi Q8 e-tron

Model launch date:

The 2023 Q8 e-tron was launched in India on 18 August, 2023.

Feature list:

Exterior highlights of the Q8 e-tron include matrix LED headlamps, red brake callipers, 20-inch five-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED taillights with an LED light bar in between, and puddle lamps at the front and rear doors.  

The model is offered in nine colours — Madeira Brown, Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, Soneira Red, Magnet Grey, Manhattan Grey, and Siam Beige. 

Inside, the flagship electric offering from Audi receives features like a panoramic sunroof, a fully digital instrument cluster, a B&O-sourced 16-speaker music system, park assist plus, and ambient lighting. It also gets the Audi Phone Box, a four-zone climate control system, a gesture-controlled boot lid, eight airbags, and electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation, memory, and massage functions.

Battery pack and charging specifications:

The Q8 e-tron gets a 95kWh battery pack in the 50 guise and a 114kWh battery pack in the 55 guise. The former and the latter have a WLTP-certified range of 491km and 582km, respectively. 

The 2023 Q8 e-tron can be charged with a 22kW AC charger and a 170kW DC charger. It takes 31 minutes for the model to be charged from 10-80 per cent and 26 minutes for20-80 per cent.

Variants:

The electric SUV is available in two variants called 50 e-tron and 55 e-tron.

Safety:

The Q8 e-tron has not been tested by an NCAP body yet.

Competition:

The new Q8 e-tron will rival the BMW iX and the Jaguar I-Pace.
