My new Tata Nano Lx BSIV
My new Tata Nano Lx BSIV is nothing like any other car I have ever driven. The super small car from Tata has been one of the best innovations made in a long time. Since the time when Tata Nano was introduced to the Indian car market, I have eagerly wanted to buy the compact innovation.
The hatchback is best suited for people belonging to small families and has to travel in crowded city on daily basis. After driving the Nano Lx variant for almost a year, I would like to applaud the vehicle for its superbly compact structure with high manoeuvrability.
However, acting as a major disadvantage is its noisy engine and average performance. While seated inside, the noisy engine can be overlooked, but the 0.6-litre, 624 cc rear engine, capable of 34 bhp of maximum power and 48 Nm of peak torque, needs improvement.
The finest feature of my Tata Nano Lx is undoubtedly is the best-in-class mileage. I get a superb mileage of 22 kmpl while driving in city and reaches up to a maximum of 26 kmpl on highways.
Tata Nano Lx is not a luxury based car and still has managed to create a profitable market. According to me, Nano is a perfect common man's car which focuses more on functionality or utility rather than luxury.
