About Force Motors Trax Cruiser
Introduction
The Trax Cruiser is a popular choice in the rural and semi-urban markets as it emerges as the only vehicle in the country to offer both nine seats with driver and 12 seats with driver options. Apart from commercial usage, the Trax Cruiser can also be registered for private use.
Exterior
The Force Trax Cruiser is all about functionality and the boxy design maximises space over form. The fascia is highlighted by a four-slat grille which is flanked by squared clear lens composite headlamps. The side profile is highlighted by extra wide windows to offer a roomy cabin feel, pull-type door handles and latches, and step rails for easy entry and exit. The rear section is highlighted by vertically stacked taillights with blinkers. The Stepney is door mounted, while the Stepney cover is optional.
Interior
As for the interior, it gets a dual-tone dashboard and a new instrument cluster. The dual-tone theme can be seen on the door trims as well, while the power window switches and door lock can be located in the centre console. Interestingly, the touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity is optional. In terms of safety, the vehicle offers ABS with EBD and airbags.
Engine
Under the hood, the Force Trax Cruiser is powered by a Mercedes-Benz sourced 2.6-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that generates 90bhp at 3,200rpm and 250Nm of peak torque between 1,400-2,400rpm. This engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
