VinFast VF8

Model launch date

The VinFast VF8 is expected to be launched in India in the first quarter of FY26.

Variants

The VF8 will be available in the Eco and Plus variants.

Exterior

The key exterior design features of the VF8 will include its distinctive grille, wheels, and the sleek coupe-SUV silhouette.

Interior

The VF8, a five-seater model measuring 4.74 metres in length, will boast leather seats, panoramic sunroof, 11 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, climate control with rear AC vents, dual-digital displays, and a driver monitoring system.

Engine and specifications

The VF8 will be equipped with a rear-wheel-drive motor, delivering 349bhp in the Eco variant and 402bhp in the Plus variant. It will offer a range of about 424km and 391km for the respective models.

Safety

In the 2023 GNCAP crash tests, the VF8 achieved a four-star safety rating.

Competition

Anticipated to be priced between Rs. 40 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh, the VF8 will directly compete with models from brands such as VW, Skoda, Hyundai, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW.
