About Mahindra TUV300 [2015-2019]

Summary

The new Mahindra TUV300 has been launched with fresh set of features and cosmetic upgrades. The updated TUV300 is available in existing T4+, T6+, T8 and T10 variants. Moreover, this time around, the TUV300 is also available in the optional T10 (O) variant.

Engine

Under the hood, the new Mahindra TUV300 is powered by the existing 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine that generates 100bhp of power at 3750rpm and 240Nm of torque at 1600rpm. Interestingly, the new model does not get an AMT option and is currently limited to a five-speed manual transmission.

Exterior

As part of the fresh upgrade, the TUV300 facelift gets a piano black front grille, new headlamp design with DRLs, X-shaped metallic grey spare wheel cover, side cladding and chin plate, static bending headlamps and clear lens tail lamps. The new model is available in seven colour options, which includes two new colours, highway red and mystic copper, in addition to dual tone colour options like red with black, silver with black, bold black, majestic silver and pearl white

Interior

The new Mahindra TUV300 facelift will get a Pininfarina designed interior with silver accents for a premium feel. This time around, the newly updated Mahindra TUV300 is also available with reverse parking camera and a 17.8cm infotainment system with GPS.

Whats Good
Comfort for travelers and driver. Suspension are good. Doesn't leaves road. Speed moderate.
What Can Improve
Mileage is max 14km/lit at 100km/hr. If the AC fan is at full speed and driving at 100kmph, mileage will drop. Speed can't go above 100kmph, as car gives a bit uncomfortable vibration. Considering other super SUVs and compact MUVs, mileage is very bad.
