The new-gen M5 was launched in India on 21 November, 2024.
Feature list:
On the outside, the next-gen M5 gets the signature kidney grille finished in glossy black with an illumination function, LED headlamps, flush-fitting door handles, blacked-out ORVMs, carbon-fibre roof, staggered wheel size setup, and chunky wheel arches.
Inside, it receives an ADAS suite, curved display, B&W-sourced 18-speaker music system, M-spec seats with an illuminated M5 logo, BMW 8.5 OS, track mode, live cockpit professional, adaptive suspension, and more.
Engine, performance, and specifications:
The 2024 BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 585bhp and 750Nm. It is paired with an 18kWh battery pack and an electric motor that develops an additional 197bhp and 280Nm. The combined figures stand at 727bhp and 1,000Nm of torque. Sending power to all four wheels via the xDrive all-wheel-drive system is an eight-speed automatic transmission. The electric motor also returns a range of 69km.
