BRILLIANT ENGINE, I HAD NOT SEEN SUCH A FINE ENGINE IN MY LIFE, THOUGH I AM HAVING HONDA CITY,ESTEEM,POLO,& PAJERO, BUT I LOVE INNOVA THE BEST BECAUSE OF IT'S RELIABILITY, ZERO MAINTENANCE, HUGE SPACE, CAR LIKE RIDE, BRILLIANT BRAKES. I TOOK INNOVA TO LADHAK, MANIKARN & JAISELMARE , JAIPUR. NO COMPLAINT & REQUIRE NIL MAINTENANCE EXCEPT DIESEL AS A FUEL &AIR IN TYRES.THOUGH POWER IS AROUND 100PS & TORQUE AROUND 22KN/M2, BUT YOU NEVER EVER FEEL UNDER POWERED WHERE EVER YOU GO. IT STARTS IN A SECOND EVEN AT SUB ZERO TEMP. THE ONLY REPLACEMENT I DID IN LAST 6 YEARS IS THE EXIDE BATTERY AFTER 3.5 YEARS. MARVELLOUS ENGINE, HATS OFF TO TOYTA FOR GIVING SUCH A GOOD VEHICLE TO INDIA. IN MY VIEW INNOVA SHOULD BE EXCISE FREE & VAT FREE SO THAT EVERY INDIAN CAN AFFORD SUCH A FINE VEHICLE, OTHERWISE IT IS OUT OF REACH OF COMMON PEOPLE.BEFORE RIDING INNOVA I HATE DIESEL VEHICLES BECAUSE OF IT'S NOISE & STARTING PROBLEMS, BUT AFTER HAVING INNOVA I KEPT MY EVEN PETROL VEHICLES IN GARAGE. IT'S A.C. IS FANTASTIC EVEN WHEN OUTSIDE TEMP. IS 48 DEG.CELCIUS
What Can ImproveNO IMPROVEMENT IS NEEDED, I BOUGHT IT IN 2006 TILL DATE NO COMPLAINT...I AM GOING TO BUY NEW UPDATED MODEL OF INNOVA IN OCT.2013
TOYOTA HAS GIVEN A GEM OF ENGINE TO INDIA....CONSIDERING NO COMPLAINTS. NO MAINTENANCE, NO BREAKDOWNS, INDIAN GOVT. SHOULD WAVE OFF EXCISE & VAT FROM THIS VEHICLE SO THAT A COMMON PERSON SHOULD BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE ENGINEERING MARVEL
