Toyota product safety - Ground clearance
Let's talk about this; A lorry was on its wheels and stops suddenly. A TOYOTA INNOVA hits the lorry from backside. The car bumped and driver got crushed since the bumper of the lorry height was more than the car dash board. Now the point is, do we need to consider the height of other vehicles and road clearance during designing a car. If so what might went wrong here?? Would Toyota consider this as this as safety concern and pay for the loss of life?? I know if product by its own ends in danger only can become possibility of claims but could Toyota take this as key input and revisit the design based on the ground clearance?
