One of my recent purchases include Mahindra Scorpio LX, which is a premium car placed in the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment of the Indian auto industry. Since I drove this car, I was quite impressed with its performance. The car is incorporated with a powerful engine, which has impressive power and torque emissions.
The LX version of Scorpio is equipped with a Common Rail Diesel engine, which has the displacement of 2179 cc. The inter cooled mHawk CRDe, four stroke engine of this car has the capacity to generate a maximum power of 120 bhp at 4000 rpm with a peak torque of 290 Nm at a fairly low 1800-2800 rpm. To assist the powerful engine of this car, the company has equipped a five speed manual transmission in the car which improves its overall acceleration.
Apart from an efficient engine, the car is also packed with high end comfort features which add to the convenience of the passengers. These features include power steering, central locking, power windows, Central Bezel with IP and console, mobile charging facility, side step and remote fuel lid opener.
