Indian automotive giant Tata Motors has commenced the 'Tata Venture Service Camp' for its customers. This initiative by the car maker, which will be held all across the country, began on 24th May and will last till 26th May 2012 across the company's network of 281 authorised dealers.
Head of Utility Vehicle Product Group, PCBU, Tata Motors, Ashesh Dhar, said, “At Tata Motors, we consider after-sales as a key differentiator for our products. The Service Camp that we extend to our customers is our way of pro actively reaching out to customers, and reassuring them that the company in constantly involved in the life of their vehicles. It has been a year since the Tata Venture was introduced in the market, and has been a good example of a comfortable and affordable people mover. These Service Camps not only help in addressing the servicing needs of our customer’s vehicle but also help in collating the required feedback, to better our product offerings.”
At the service camps, the customers of the company's Venture model will be provided with an opportunity to check if their cars are in mint condition or not. A discount of 10 per cent and 5 percent respectively on labour charges and genuine parts from the company can be availed by the customers, besides a thorough free check-up of their vehicle. Along with these, customers can get tips on maintaining the vehicle and on enhancing the interiors by the Tata Venture Service Camp teams present at the workshops. Other offers include an exchange scheme and extended warranty.
The Venture model by this domestic auto major features a 1.4 litre turbo diesel powertrain. This motor is capable of belting out peak power output of 70 hp. The vehicle comes with the options of 5, 7 and 8 seater in a 3 row front facing seating arrangement. Tata Venture comes in a total of 5 colours and in 3 trim levels. It is priced at Rs. 4.53 lacs (Ex showroom Dehradun).
