BMW's high performance sportscar M division will soon reveal a high spirited M4 GTS at the soon to be held 44th Tokyo Show. The brand new M4 GTS has been devised for a race track primarily but then at the same time also promises mundane practicality. It will have a radical exterior and that's a given considering the design language seen on their new generation performance cars.
It will be based on the M4 Coupé and pays a stylish rather lavish tribute to celebrate the 30 years of the iconic M3 which started its production tenure from 1986. A total of 700 of these specially crafted machines would be built. The M4 GTS boasts of the revolutionary water injection technology with extreme precision that also raised the power output to 500 bhp. This one makes use of a seven-speed M double clutch transmission. It has a 0 to 100kmph acceleration timing of 3.8 seconds and can reach a max speed of 305 kmph.
Other highlights of the M4 GTS are its light weight construction, fantastic power to weight ratio and OLED taillamps on the rear profile, which make their debut on a BMW car.
