Volvo XC90

Introduction 
Volvo launched the 2023 XC90 in India in September 2022. It is available in a single variant, B6 AWD. 

Exterior 
As a part of the model year update, Volvo offers a new paint job, called Bright Dusk, alongside the four existing colour options. Except that, it carries the same design language as the 2022 model. Being the largest in Volvo’s lineup, the XC90 measures 4,953mm in length. 1,776 in height, and 2,140mm in width. It has a wheelbase of 2,984mm. 

Interior 
The 2023 XC90 gets a Charcoal interior with Nappa leather upholstery available in two colour options: Maroon Brown and Amber. Volvo has bestowed it with a new Android-powered nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also offers in-built Google services, including apps and Google Assistant. 

Other features include a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 19-speaker, 1,460-watt Bowers and Wilkins sound system, four-zone temperature control, and powered front seats with massage, ventilation, heating, and lumbar functions. The SUV also comes with a host of ADAS and safety features. 

Engine and transmission 
Powering the 2023 Volvo XC90 is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid assistance. It develops 295bhp and 420Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
