Toyota Kirloskar Motor has updated the prices of its pickup, Hilux in India. The Hilux now starts at a price tag of Rs. 30.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The vehicle is available in three variant options: Standard MT, High MT, and High AT. Meanwhile, all the variants come equipped with a 4x4 system as standard.
For the base variant, Standard MT, the brand has reduced the price by Rs. 3.59 lakh. However, prices have increased by Rs. 1.35 lakh and Rs. 1.10 lakh for the High MT and High AT variants, respectively.
Under the hood, the Hilux is powered by the same 2.8-litre diesel engine found in its SUV sibling, the Fortuner. This engine is capable of producing 201bhp and 420Nm of torque while being mated to a six-speed manual or an automatic unit.
