Volkswagen Tera SUV

Model launch date:

The new Volkswagen Tera is expected to be launched in 2026.

Feature list:

On the outside, the new Tera will feature a single slat grille, blacked-out elements on the front and rear bumpers, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the car could boast ventilated front seats, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, and two digital screens on the dashboard.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

The Tera is expected to be powered by the brand’s 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI petrol engine paired with six-speed manual and torque converter automatic units. The power output of this engine is rated at 114bhp and 178Nm of torque.

Variants:

It is likely to be offered in four variants – Comfortline, Highline, Topline, and GT.

Safety:

The Tera SUV has not been tested by any NCAP body yet.

Competition:

Upon its launch in India, the Volkswagen Tera will compete against the Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, and the Nissan Magnite.
