VinFast VF 6

Model Launch Date:

The Vinfast VF 6 was launched in India on 6 September, 2025.

Feature List:

On the outside, the VF 6 presents a bold design with full-width LED DRL strips at the front and rear that frame the brand’s emblem. The look is further accentuated by plastic body cladding, sloping roofline, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the VF 6 adopts a minimalist cabin layout centred around a 12.9-inch freestanding touchscreen that handles most in-car functions. Instead of a conventional instrument cluster, the India-spec version relies on a heads-up display for driver information. Features include a panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, eight-way powered driver’s seat, wireless charging, eight-speaker audio, dual-zone climate control, and vegan leather upholstery.

Battery Pack and Specifications:

The VF 6 is powered by a 59.6kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor. In the entry-level Earth trim, the motor produces 174bhp and 250Nm, while the higher-spec Wind trim increases output to 201bhp and 310Nm. The electric SUV has claimed a 0-100kmph time of 8.9 seconds.

The range figures stand at an ARAI-certified 468km for the Earth trim and 463km for the Wind trim. Charging options include 3.3kW and 7.2kW AC chargers along with DC fast charging, where the latter can replenish the battery from 10 to 70 per cent in about 25 minutes.

The VF 6 can be had in Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity variants.

Safety:

The VF 6 boasts features such as seven airbags, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, and electronic parking brake.

Competition:

The Vinfast VF 6 goes up against the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and the MG Windsor EV.
