I have been taking my Tata Safari 4X2 VX
I have been taking my Tata Safari 4X2 VX for long off-terrain trips for a long time and have to admit that the vehicle does not seize to perform with power and excellence. I own the massive Tata Safari in a beautiful grey shade and purchased it for around Rs. 12 lacs.
The vehicle is assembled with a magnificent 2.2-litre, 16-valve, Direct Injection Common Rail (DiCOR) diesel engine. The 2179 cc engine can generate up to maximum power of 140 bhp at the rate of 4000 rpm and optimum torque of 320 Nm at the rate of 1700 rpm. The only downside of the car is its lesser mileage that only ranges from 11 kmpl to 14 kmpl.
Cabin comfort and convenience is not an aspect that the company has overlooked. With ample seven-eight passenger room, the cabin offers more than enough for a luxurious ride experience. Especially the rear seats in the Tata Safari 4X2 VX there are ample features that ensure maximum convenience to passengers travelling long and tiring journeys.
Apart from luxury and performance, Tata Safari 4X2 VX comes with a favourable active safety package. Active safety features I consider to be most reliable include driver and co-driver dual airbags, side impact beams, central locking with child safety lock and front seat belt warning signals.
