Tata Nexon CNG

The Tata Nexon CNG was recently spied testing in the country. The upcoming Nexon CNG is expected to be introduced in the country in Q4 of 2022. Further, it is expected to be introduced in four variant options - XE, XM, XT, and XZ+.

Visually, the Tata Nexon CNG is expected to retain styling elements from the regular model. Moreover, the interior styling elements might also be retained from the current model. In terms of features, the Nexon CNG is likely to offer automatic climate control, electric sunroof, height-adjustable driver seat, 16-inch alloy wheels, and more.

Mechanically, the Tata Nexon CNG will be powered by the existing 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. However, this engine might be available in a lower state of tune for the CNG version. The upcoming CNG option is expected to be limited to a five-speed manual transmission. 

Post launch, the Tata Nexon CNG is expected to compete against the yet-to-be-launched 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG. It is believed that the CNG iteration of the compact SUV might be priced between Rs 8-11 lakh (ex-showroom).
