Tata Manza [2011-2015]
₹ 5.80 Lakh Onwards
Good Car with pathetic dealer network & poor service levels
Tata Manza car seems to be real good but Concord Motors (like other Tata dealers) is also a pathetic dealer. I got my car from Concord last week & found them the worst ever dealer. 5 days of real harassment to get my car delivered. But still struggling to get all sales related stuff sorted (pre to post taking a delivery).
Worst was that Basic accessories (for which they charge Rs. 1500/-) is all duplicate stuff with no M.R.P sold on traffic signals. Number plate for which charge Rs. 500/- is the cheap 100/- rupee road side plate (can prove same).Even local accessory shop owners sell better quality then them. They claimed that Tata genuine accessories are mostly not made available for selling so they have to provide other local goods instead(claim made by Accessories Manager).
This from a dealer which claims to be Tata Motors Subsidiary.
This is my 1st Tata car after 16 years driving Maruti 800 to Wagon R to Swift.
Actually Tata is for taxi drivers, since other would get frustrated dealing with Tata, which is worse than a typical govt. organisations.
As i told them, Indians know how to get work done in Govt. organisations (just put a gandhi note in file & it moves), but for Tata dealers nothing moves except customer from table to doors to depts. with no actions or actions at snail pace.
A typical indian car with Indian culture mentality - i.e. Chalta hai attitude even for customers.
Moral of the story - Service is critical, post making a sale. References & word of mouth publicity can make a real difference.
