I have owned a Tata Indogo Petrol GLX for about 5 years now. It has done close to 50000 k.m and still runs in perfect condition. Yes, maybe its not as refined as a maruti or Hyundai, but for the price I purchased, its worth every penny. Reason that I went for Petrol instead of Diesel, was because diesel engine needs maintainence, makes noise (more than a petrol) and has lesser shelf life than petrol engine. I still get 10-11 k.m per litre on city roads and approx 13+ on highways. The only change I did after 45K k.m were the tyres. I fitted Mclaren tyres now and the ride is even better. One big drawback, you might not get a good resale value b'cos most of people prefer diesel these days.
