If you drive atleast 1500km/month then u can go for Diesel car, if less than 1500km/month then go for Petrol car. Morden Diesel cars are easy to maintain, they are slightly expensive by 15-20% more than petrol cars on maintenance. Diesel cars have more Torque and less power...petrol cars have more power and less torque.

I was immediately impressed with Tata Indigo Marina GVS when it was first launched during 2004. The car comes with a unique combination of sedan-like luxury and comfort of a Multi-Utility Vehicle. I have been driving Tata Indigo Marina GVS for a long time now and thoroughly satisfied with this car. However, there are certain areas where the higher-end variants perform much better. When talking about mileage, Marina GVS offers a decent fuel economy around 9 kmpl on city roads. The city mileage offered can be improved; however, while diving on highways, I get a improved mileage of around 14 kmpl. I find the engine performance of Tata Indigo Marina GVS to be quite satisfactory as well. Powered with a 1405cc petrol engine, the car has a power churning capacity of up to 85 bhp. Towards the interior, several features are available that add to class comfort for travellers. Some of the features I prefer are air-conditioning system, power windows, central locking system and power steering. However, what the car lacks is a good quality music system with CD/MP3 player. Moreover, Marina GVS does not have rear centre armrest, adjustable driver's seat and rear AC vents. On the whole, Tata Indigo Marina GVS can be considered a vehicle suitable for congested city roads and for long-distance journeys as well.

I purchased my Tata Indigo eCS VX during the beginning of the year and as the year comes to an end I would like to share my experience with this excellent all-rounding car. Being luxurious sub-compact sedan, the car delivers a fairly well fuel economy that makes it one of the best car for travelling in cities. My Indigo eCS VX is assembled with 1396cc Common Rail CR4, DOHC engine that generates maximum power of 70 bhp at the rate of 4000 rpm and a favourable peak torque of 140 Nm at the rate of 1800-3000 rpm. Along with a decent power and torque, I also get an optimum mileage ranging from 15 kmpl to 18 kmpl. A fuel-efficient car like Indigo eCS VX is well equipped to provide maximum comfort for passengers. When I drive, the features that enhance my comfort level are air-conditioning system with heater, adjustable front seat headrests, height adjustable function on driver's seat and mechanical levers for opening fuel/truck lid. Making the driver's quality more quaint are equipment towards the exterior such as rear demister, front and rear fog lamps, outer rear view mirror on both sides and much more. For any kind of travelling I always trust my all-rounding family car, Indigo eCS VX.

When I first drove the sub-compact sedan Tata Indigo eCS LE model, I immediately made up my mind to buy the superb family car. The feature that impressed me most is its high performing engine that is complimented by a decent fuel economy, a feature that is very rear in sedans. Even today after driving the vehicle for more than a year, the sedan assembled with a 1405cc, Turbocharged diesel engine with intercooler is sufficient enough to generate maximum power output of 70 bhp at 4500 rpm and peak torque of 135 Nm at 2500 rpm. Given the current conditions with raging fuel prices, my Tata Indigo eCS LE gives an advantage with a fuel economy of 13 kmpl to 18 kmpl. Being the base diesel variant, Tata Indigo eCS LE definitely has the least number of cabin comfort features among other Indigo eCS models. However, even the base variant is well tended with simple features like air-conditioning system, adjustable front seat headrests, digital clock, vanity mirror on co-driver seat, storage pockets on doors and more. Even safety is given due consideration in the Tata Indigo eCS LE. Though there are no advanced safety features, the car is still equipped with useful features like child safety locks on rear doors, collapsible steering column and high mounted stop lamps.
