The Porsche Macan Turbo EV was launched in India on 26 January, 2024.

Feature list

The Macan, being an all-electric Porsche, offers the best of both worlds, that is, the Porsche cabin design language but with changes of the electric age. You get HD-quality displays for both, the driver and infotainment system, while the rest of the elements have been placed in a stacked layout. The HVAC and centre console physical buttons have been retained and there is also an optional passenger-side display and a heads-up display with augmented reality.

Engine, performance and specifications

The Macan Turbo Electric gets a 100kWh battery pack mated to two electric motors producing 630bhp/1130Nm. The 0-100kmph time is 3.3 seconds, while the top speed is 260kmph. The battery of the Macan Electric can be juiced up using DC and AC chargers. Porsche claims a driving range of 518-591km for the Turbo trim on a single charge.

Variants

The Macan Turbo EV is available as one fully loaded variant for the Indian car market.

Safety

The Macan Turbo Electric scored a five-star GNCAP rating.

The Macan Turbo Electric is a rival to the Lotus Eletre.
