Nissan Micra Active

Summary

The Nissan Micra line-up has been updated along with the Micra Active.  Even after the 2018 model year update, the Micra Active still remains a low-cost model from Nissan based on the pre-facelift version of the hatchback. It is an India specific model that competes in the entry-level B Segment with the likes of Maruti Wagon R, Chevrolet Beat and Hyundai i10.

Exterior

The Micra Active retains the look of the pre-facelifted design and the only noticeable difference is the new wider front bumper. The bulbous headlamps are present along with protruding tail lights. The updates add turn indicators on ORV. The hatchback is available in five colour options. The 2018 MY updates on the Micra Active are limited.

Interior

On the inside, the new features include 6.2-inch touch screen AVN with phone mirroring function. The front dual air-bags are now standard along with rear parking sensors.  However, the overall layout remains unchanged. The Micra Active has the same dimensions as that of the previous car and hence it is actually a lot bigger than the rest of the vehicles in the segment.

Engine & Transmission

Under the hood, the Micra Active still gets only one powertrain option. It is powered by the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 68bhp of power and 104Nm of torque mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
