The two-wheeler market holds a lot of possibility for existing as well as new players in this category. Mostly the two-wheeler segment can be divided into three sub-parts, high-end sports bikes, regular commuter motorcycles and sleek scooters. A significant portion of the two-wheeler market has been provided by the scooter section. This is exactly what the manufacturers are trying to exploit to get hold of more market shares. Mahindra, one of the leading names in automobile and two-wheeler manufacturers, is set to launch a new product in the 110 cc segment. Though this sector has been a domain of Hero and Honda with both the names having popular models in this category; Mahindra is trying to get a share in this respect. A new model has been found testing on the roads under the codename of G101 internally by Mahindra. It is expected that the new model will be launched some time later in 2014.
This model has been recently spotted in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. It is expected that make will be launched within the next couple of months. It has been reported that the scooter will be available in three colours – red, black and white. This scooter will be named Zesto as confirmed from the reports. The huge tail lamp is expected to be a major attraction, which lends a bold appearance to the bike. Apart from the all-analogue instrument cluster is also a thumbs up to the new model.
All said and done, it is expected that the two-wheeler is set to amaze the fans with its superior performance and good looks. However, it has been quite anticipated and all eyes are set for its launch date. Once it hits the streets, Mahindra is expected to witness a raise in its market shares.
