Yuvraj Singh, a young boy from Chandigarh, came into the limelight after delivering an outstanding performance in the International cricket. In a short span of time, he became a pivotal part of the Indian cricket team. Along with his exploits on the cricket field, Yuvraj is known for his penchant for cars. He has moved on from his first car, a Honda City, to luxury models that he has purchased or were gifted to him over the years. In line with his success, he has managed to come up with an enviable collection of cars.

The young cricket star is the son of former Indian cricketer who later became an actor, Yograj Singh. Yuvraj’s first car, an emerald gold Honda City, was presented to him by his father on getting selected for the Indian cricket team in 2000. His first innings against Australia was in the second match of India during the year 2000. The audience cannot forget the 84 runs he smashed against the world's toughest team at such an early stage of his career. Now counted among the best batsmen of country, Yuvraj is an icon in India who has the potential to pull the masses.

The former captain of U-19 Punjab Cricket team hit six sixes in the 8th match of ICC world T-20 super held in Durban against England on 19th September 2007. Yuvraj was presented with an ICC knock trophy for his outstanding performance. With this performance, he also set a world record for hitting the fastest fifty run score in international cricket. For making this match a piece of history, Yuvraj Singh was presented with a Porsche 911 by the Vice President of BCCI. In addition to the car, he was also felicitated with a cash amount of Rs. 10,000,000 by BCCI.

Apart from the Porsche, the cricketer is also the proud owner of cars like Mercedes-Benz, BMW M5 and BMW M3. However, the array of luxurious cars owned by Yuvraj Singh does not end here. He was also gifted an Audi by the German luxury car maker for his brilliant performance in Cricket World Cup 2011. The keys of this car were handed to the batsmen by Anil Reddi and Ravi Shastri. The latter was also presented with an Audi car for his performance in 1985 World Championship held in Australia for his performance.

In addition to this, the star was also gifted a car by his mother on his 30th birthday. Speaking on this, Shabnam, the cricket star's mother, said, “Yuvi has developed a keen interest in cars in the past five years. Last year, he wanted a sports car for his birthday so I got him one. This year too he wanted a car, so I have decided to get it for him. I would like to gift him his favourite car, but this time it needs to be a little more special. I would like Yuvi to give back to society for all the support and blessings he has got from them.”

Yuvraj's success on the cricket field with the bat and the ball lasted till the 2011 Cricket World Cup, where he played a crucial role in India's win. Soon thereafter, it was reported that he was afflicted with lung cancer, which turned out to be operable. In recent times, he underwent treatment for the non-malignant tumour present in his left lung. In the initial stages, reports stated that the cricketer was facing some serious issues regarding his health.

Since his operation, he has recovered from this ailment and is raring to get on the field to prove his mettle once again. His icon Lance Armstrong, Sachin Tendulkar as well as the whole cricketing fraternity have wished him luck in overcoming this situation and come out on the top once again.
