To aid with one stop solution to car wheel care needs, globally renowned tyremaker Tokohama has opened its first Yokohama Club Network (YCN) store in Kerala.
Currently, Yokohama Tyres has more than 650 point of sales in the country including the 22 Yokohama Club Network (YCN) stores that are strategically located across India. The YCN stores are basically specialized networks that are based on Yokohama's global philosophy to deliver service to customers as one-stop point of sales and deliver world class buying experience. At the occasion, Mr Takashi Fujino, Managing Director, Yokohama India, said, “Yokohama India plans to double its YCN strength nationally by the end of 2014. The Global Tyre major is currently operating on two per cent of the total market share in India.”
Speaking about its tubeless tyre market in India, Mr. Fujino added, “With the fast transformation of market from tube type tyres to tubeless tyres, Yokohama India is looking at 5% market share in the near future to support mid-term management plan.” The company has joined hands with M/S Tyre Plaza that is strategically located on Trichur highway.
