      Yamaha R1 2015 will make an entry in the First Half of 2015

      The 2015 Yamaha R1 was first unveiled at the 2014 EICMA, which was held in Milan in Italy. Now it has been reported that the bike will arrive in India by the first half of 2015. It has been reported that the bike will come in the month of March and will be followed by advanced bookings. The deliveries of the same will begin soon after the bookings are done. It is expected that the price of the bike will be tagged by 2-3 lakhs INR more, which is currently priced at 15.6 lakhs INR. The increase in the price is due to the major upgrades, which has been installed on the new bike.

      The style aspects are entirely different from the existing bike and is inspired by the company MotoGP machine – YZR-M1. The new version has a more practical design with twin projector headlamps, front air bay, better aerodynamic visor and fairing and seating. The dal exhaust under the seat has been updated to give a side-slung type exhaust. The tail lamps have been given a sportier edge along with LED indicators. The rear part has been given additional stability with new seat cowls for improved aerodynamics.

      The model is powered by a CP4 crossplane engine, which has a displacement of 998 cc, with a power output of 200 horsepower and a peak torque of 112.4 Nm. The new variant is provided with a six axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) with Gyro/G sensors. The bike is also provided with traction control, launch control, front lift control and racing ABS. This will make it more adaptable for the Indian roads. All these advancements will definitely boost the sales of the Yamaha bike.
