Two-wheeler major Yamaha Motor India Sales today launched a new variant of its 125 cc bike Saluto with disk brake, priced at Rs 54,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). "The new Saluto is aimed to provide safer and more controlled biking experience for the city traffic conditions," Yamaha Motor India Sales Vice President - Sales and Marketing Roy Kurian said in a statement.
The new variant of the bike is intended to expand the company's sales in the 125cc segment, he added. "We are again very bullish on the new product which we believe will help us maintain the strong growth numbers we have witnessed in the last few years," Kurian said. He further added, “It has been our hallmark to continually innovate our products to have a strong connect with our customer base and ensure utmost customer delight. The same will be available in vibrant color schemes and graphics to boost sales and create more excitement amongst customers.”
