Speaking more on the occasion, Roy Kurian, YMIS Vice President for Sales and Marketing said, “On day one of this move, we could see many women riders being fined and most of the women riders came up with excuses such as non-availability of helmets exclusively for women. Gouging the requirements, we are happy to introduce our new range of helmets meant exclusively for women.” Speaking on the importance of helmets for kids riding pillion, Kurian said, “We'd also like to urge the government to make a start and make helmets mandatory for children as well.”

The helmets designed and developed by Yamaha Motor India Sales team are certifies by ISI for safety standards. Moreover, these helmets come with a lucrative price tag - Rs 990 and Rs 1380 for Womens helmets and Rs Rs 1,350 for kids helmets. The new range of helmets shall be made available throughout Yamaha dealership outlets in the country.
