      World's first Flying Car, "AeroMobil 3.0" expected to be launched soon

      Ever wished you could beat traffic on your way to work and just fly over them? The Austria-based company, Slovakia Aeromobil has been working on the flying car pototype, commonly known known as “AeroMobil 3.0”. The one of a kind car shall be showcased at the Pioneers Festival in Austria due to be held on on October 29, 2014.

      Speaking more on the vehicle the company said, “In terms of automobile configuration, it fits to a standard parking space, its engine enables it to tank at any gas station, it is fully accustomed to road traffic and as a plane it could both take off and land at any airport in the world.” The Aeromobil, weighs about 1,000 lbs and features two seats. The Flying car is powered by Rotax 912 engine and has wingspan of about 27 feet. The vehicle is capable of attaining speeds of about 100 Mph on ground and attain speeds of about 124 Mph while fyling. Moreover, Aeromobil’s cruising range is about 430 miles as compared to Terrafugia’s 500 miles.

      Adding further, sources from the company said, “A single to improve the concept of the flying car in a way to become an integral part of the regular road traffic." The AeroMobil 3.0 is indeed designed perform equally well in air as it does on the tarmac.
