Back in 2007, the event which saw the global launch of Fiat Linea, in Turkey, tops the list of the most lavishing unveilings experienced till date. Around 1000 journalists were invited from across the world in Istanbul, where Fiat gave rise to an artificial island that was meant for the launch event. The island was created in the middle of the Creek of Bosphorus with the beautiful Bosphorus Bridge offering a magical view.

Since then, Fiat Linea has outshone impeccably in its segment and has earned many accolades on the grounds of styling, classy interiors and exclusive features. For the past 5 years, the car has captivated the hearts of infinite buyers and achieved a distinct identity for itself in the market. As a matter of fact, the popular car has not received any sort of modifications in its new models during its unprecedented 5-year journey.

However, things are set to go quite differently for Fiat Linea, wherein the vehicle is expected to step into a new generation with the upcoming model. Recently, a picture was featured in a European magazine which showed the revived styling of the new Fiat Linea sedan. The new Fiat Linea 2013 is geared up to break its cover, globally, at the Detroit Auto Show in U.S.A. in January 2012.

The Fiat Linea 2013 proves to be quite similar to its old generation or existing model in terms of the side profile. However, it has been offered a completely different fascia. The front bumper, headlamps, chrome grille, bonnet, fog lamps, among others, provide the car with a unique overall appearance. In addition, it is likely to sport a sleeker and advanced front look with new alloy wheel. The front windshield appears to gain size and blends flawlessly with the roof of the car.

The side view offers a smooth and aerodynamic feel, while sloping slightly towards the front. This feature in the car further lowers the centre of gravity and hence improves the suspension quotient. Large interior space and luggage space assure a comfortable long drive with family.

The new Linea would possibly be powered by the award winning Fiat 1.4-litre Multi-Air Engine, which is capable of producing a startling power of 169 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Other than high power, these engines also manage to curb the emission rates and offer efficient fuel economy.

Thus, Fiat has decided to bring the basics as well as new technologies together, in a way that it takes its position to new highs.
