      Volvo V60 Cross Country showcased at the 2014 LA Motor Show

      Volvo has been a big name in the automobile market. The brand has impressed visitors at the 2014 LA Motor Show with the stunning new V60 Cross Country that has a sporty appeal and also lets the driver enjoy the freedom to explore new horizons. The Volvo V60 Cross Country is expected to be available for sale across global market sometime in early 2015.

      The Volvo V60 Cross Country is stated to be powered by 2.0-liter, five-cylinder petrol engine that generates about 250Hp. The base trim shall be available in Front-Wheel drive, whereas the All-Wheel drive version shall be be powered by 5-cylinder D4 engine. At the event speaking more about the car, Lex Kerssemakers, Senior Vice President, Product Strategy and Vehicle Line Management, said, “We are delighted to add the third true Cross Country model to our product portfolio. The successful combination of dynamic styling and rugged capability places the V60 Cross Country in a class of its own.”

      The interior of the Volvo V60 Cross Country comes blessed with black leather sports seats that complements distinctive brown thread stitching. The cabin area is spacious and carries the rich feel much true to its family lineage. On the front the Volvo V60 Cross Country sports skid plates on the front and rear, side scuff plates, fender extenders and a high ground clearance. In the UK market, the car shall be launched in trims with - D3 FWD, D4 FWD and D4 AWD configurations. Adding further Kerssemakers said, “With ground clearance increased 65mm compared to the V60, the Cross Country’s sturdy construction offers unparalleled control on and off the beaten track, coupled with an enhanced sporty driving experience thanks to torque vectoring technology and corner traction control.
