Volvo has released teaser images of the next-gen V40 and brand new XC40 concept cars ahead of their official debut next week. It has released three teaser images of the vehicle on the social media platform Snapchat and will be the entry-level vehicles from the Chinese-owned Swedish automaker.
The pictures are mostly focused on the headlamps which, if you have guessed by now, are in the Thor hammer design, a signature Volvo element in its modern range. One of the pictures also says ‘Not Your Daddy’s Volvo’ indicating that the car has been aimed at a younger generation.
These new cars will be Volvo’s entry-level range and take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class. There are not many details available right now but we know they will be offered with a variety of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. It is expected to go into production next year.
