The countdown has finally stopped and brought the time when Swedish car assembler Volvo is launching its much anticipated sedan Volvo S60 in India today on 10th March, 2011. This will be company’s second launch in India in recent times after the SUV XC60 last year in December.
A Volvo company top official reported, that there are two engine variants Volvo S60 will come with; diesel D5 and Petrol T6. The Diesel D5 engine has been fitted in XC60 as well, and has proved its top class performance on Indian roads.
Ready to be launched, Volvo S60 is the cheapest ever car from the conglomerate anywhere across the globe. Fortunately, even while it is the cheapest, it gives all reason to bring smiles to our faces; it is technological ahead, comfortable to ride and one of the safest luxury sedan bestowed with a range of safety features.
The S60’s diesel D5 and Turbo engine will compete strongly with the luxury sedans like Audi A4 3.0 TDI & BMW 320D and Audi A4 3.2 & BMW 330i respectively.
