The S60 Cross Country from Volvo that was revealed earlier this year had a peculiar ride height increase by about 65mm over the regular sedan. As per sources, Volvo India has now confirmed that this particular model could debut in India sometime early next year. It is anticipated that the company may additionally price this new model by over Rs 4-5 Lakh than the S60 sedan.
Under the hood, the S60 Cross Country may be powered by 2.4-litre five-cylinder D4 engine that may generate about 178bhp of power. The new model would be offered with front-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive options. In terms of equipments, it shall be offered with same set of features found on top-spec standard S60 sedan. The vehicle with four-door sedan body style also offers interested buyers a chance to experience off-roading drive. More details about the vehicle shall be known at a later date.
