Swedish car manufacturer Volvo has launched the all-new XC60 in India for Rs 55.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has offered its latest SUV in a single ‘Inscription’ variant. The XC60 is based on the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform, which essentially underpins their bigger XC90 too. Along with fresh cosmetic upgrades, the XC60 offers more space and features as compared to its predecessor.

Under the hood, the Volvo XC60 is powered by a 2.0-litre D5 diesel engine that generates 235bhp of power and 480Nm of torque. The powerful engine comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels. The SUV gets five preset drive modes - Eco, Comfort, Off Road, Dynamic and Individual. The new XC60’s wheelbase has shot up by 44mm, is 11mm wider and sits shorter by 14mm.

In terms of features, the newly launched Volvo XC60 gets ventilated front seats with Nappa leather upholstery, four-zone climate control and air suspension system. Additionally, the vehicle also gets a 15-speaker audio system from Bowers and Wilkins, nine-inch vertically positioned screen, black soft-touch dashboard and a panoramic sunroof. As for safety, the SUV gets adaptive cruise control, pilot assist, lane keeping aid, park pilot assist, 360 degree camera, hill start assist and HUD mode.
